Two major artists associated with the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians. George Lewis is in fact more than major: he is one of the great American composer of his (ulp our) generation. His pieces will be performed tonight by the nonpareil International Contemporary Ensemble, which he now leads. Pianist/composer Amina Claudine Myers will present a longform piece for trio and actress/vocalist.
