PUPPETS! And this year’s edition of HERE’s puppet theater series looks especially good (or at least this opening week does). There are two shows. One (WEDNESDAY – SATURDAY at 7:00 PM) pairs Mother Mold, a table-top puppet piece that looks enchanting (I actually think I might have seen it but I can’t find any record; if it’s what I’m thinking of, I really liked it), with Tristan Allen’s shadow puppet reflection on the creation of the universe and the arc of life (not too big a topic!), Tin Iso and the Dawn, which I can tell you from personal experience is quite affecting. The other (FRIDAY & SATURDAY at 7:00 & 11:00 PM, SUNDAY at 4:00 PM, continuing through MARCH 19) looks spectacular: a collaboration between the fabulous Poncilí Creación and (wait for it) a consort of Daxophones!
