It seems as if iLe has every style of Latin/Tropical pop music, past and present, under her command. And what a fucking voice! If you’re me, Divino Niño’s Psych-tinged Latin dance music (they’re of Colombian descent — but this isn’t Cumbia) is just what you like (well, one of them, anyway) (they’ll be at DROM tomorrow). I find Sara Curruchich (from Guatemala) too earnest — but maybe you won’t.
