Heart of the Ghost is a Skronk Jazz trio led by drummer Ian G. McColm with the inestimable advantage of having Luke Stewart on bass. Baritone saxophonist Dave Sewelson and trombonist Dick Griffin are Free Jazz stalwarts. As for gonzo drummer Ryan Sawyer’s Shaker Ensemble, it remains to be seen whether it is comprised of people playing maracas or members of the religious sect.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Even after a year, it remains very big news that Windsor Terrace’s Dog Day Afternoon (located on the very block the movie was filmed on) is now serving their supernal Chicago-Style Hot Dogs at a new Williamsburg bar (H&H Reserve) at reasonable hours!
