Annelise Hagen brings her fantasia about someone who thinks she's the last person in Greenpoint after the world has ended Uptown (notionally).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  A particularly nice Dale DeGroff creation, the Old Flame:  pour 1 oz. Gin, 1/2 oz. each of sweet Vermouth, Cointreau (or other Triple Sec), and Campari, and 1-1/2 oz. orange juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with a flamed orange peel (Dale was actually the person who taught me how to do that).
