Couldn't have a Summer entirely without PS1 Warm Ups.  So they're capping off the Summer with a remote version featuring the usual collection of performers and spinners in the prevailing NYC dance styles, live-streamed from the PS1 courtyard with a stage design by Cécile McLoren Salvant(?).  If you don't feel like watching from the confines of your home, it's being screened at various outdoor venues:  Public Records, Elsewhere, 99 Scott, Ode to Babel, The Rockaway Hotel, Queens Botanical Garden, Cafe Erzulie, and Rise Radio.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Let's really close out the Summer with a day of that greatest of Summer coolers, the Tom Collins:  pour 2 oz. Gin, 1 oz. lemon juice, and 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a Collins glass over ice.  (You can also build it in the glass, but it's better this way.)  Top with club soda.  Garnish with a cocktail cherry.  Don't dare stop at one.
