A big night for fans of Anna Clyne, one of the more eloquent and affecting composers out there, writing in a style that grows out of the mainstream. There's a premiere of a new piece and also of a short film (by Jyll Bradley) for which Clyne wrote the soundtract. Clyne selected accompanying contrapuntal pieces by Bach and Steve Reich.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: White Lady: pour 1-1/2 oz. Gin and 3/4 oz. each Cointreau and lemon juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake Strain into a chilled Martinit glass or coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.
