Talk about going off the deep end. A 27-hour concert that seeks to fragment time (and space for that matter) in a way we've all become all too accustomed to. Musicians onstage in Berlin are accompanied by taped performances by composer/musicians from around the world (including several of our own local faves) emanating from a revolving stage platform that rotates a full circle every hour.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Absinthe Frappé (appropriate — or maybe I should say equally appropriate — any time of the day or night!): pour 1 oz. Absinthe, 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup, and 1-2 oz. ice water (depending on how brave you're feeling) into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Pour into a Collins glass over ice (it really ought to be crushed).
