Edward Einhorn revives what is surely one of the better American plays of the last few years, a fantasia on the institution of marriage (and a totally wicked take on Paris In The '20s) (holy shit you now have to specify the 1920s). Without wanting to scant the rest of a marvelous cast (ladies and gentlemen: Mia Katigbak! Jan Leslie Harding!), if you want to see what people mean when they call a performance "luminous", watch Alyssa Simon's Alice. A performance to remember.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Hemingway Daiquiri: pour 2 oz. light Rum, 1/2 oz. each Maraschino liqueur and grapefruit juice, 3/4 oz. lime juice, and 1/4 oz. Simple Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a lime wheel.
